This is the petition that has been set up by Nicole and I (Trish) as a platform to allow Shinhwa Fans to voice their opinions about the “Orange” Issue.
To Good Entertainment Company and YG Entertainment Company
Shinhwa(Korean: Myth, Legend) is the longest running boyband in South Korea, consists of 6 members, namely: Eric Mun (Leader), Lee Minwoo, Kim Dongwan, Shin Hyesung, Junjin, Andy Lee. Though their first album debut in 1998 was largely unsuccessful due to the economy meltdown then, they managed to gain popularity through their second album and has been on the roll since then. Even claiming the highest honored music awards in Korea in 2004 They have 9 Korean studio albums to date. They have sold more than 50 million copies of their records worldwide. They have overcome all odds to be the longest running group in Korea(without a change of members),like the absence of member Andy during the 4th album activities and the shift of companies from SM entertainment to Good Entertainment in 2003.
Their fanclub, “Shinhwa Changjo(Creating legends)” is one the most respected fanclubs in Korea as their actions have proved them to be mature supporters of Shinhwa, setting a good example for the other fanclubs. The official colour of Shinhwa and Shinhwa Changjo is Orange.
Nearing Shinhwa’s 11th anniversary (24th March 2009), this would be the first year where 2 of the members, Eric Mun and Kim Dongwan are already enlisted in the army. As the other members (except Shin Hyesung) would be enlisted in the near future as well, it marks a hiatus for all Shinhwa group activities until approximately 2012.
To all fans, let’s keep our promise with Shinhwa as we wait for their return! “Once a fan, always a fan” Let’s protect the Orange that has been close to our hearts all this while!
SHINHWA=Orange!
